Email: wzc231@163.com, or zaicongwang@cug.edu.cn. Prof. Zaicong Wang, a member of Geochemistry Group of CUG, EPSL advisory editorial member (2019-present). He has obtained Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Institute of Geology & Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing), and Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, respectively. He is interested in developing isotope dilution ICP-MS methods for high-precision abundances of siderophile/chalcophile elements of terrestrial rocks and meteorites to understand planetary core formation and late accretion of Earth and Mars, and also mantle-crust interaction and the origin of gold deposits. His recent work focuses on the mantle evolution and its control of Mesozoic giant gold deposits in the eastern North China Craton, as well as transfer of metal and fluids in subduction zones. Based on MC-ICPMS (Nu plasma 1700), he has been extending his research approaches from stable isotope perspectives (e.g., Ca, Fe, Cu, Zn and Zr) in the fields of mantle-crust magmatic processes.
